About Me
My name is Oliver Killian and I’m a senior studying Consumer Behavior and Marketplace Studies with a certificate in Digital Studies. In my studies I have explored the increasing role technology plays in our everyday lives and the way in which it is continuously advancing society.
Career
As an aspiring football videographer, I get the opportunity to combine my curiosity for technology with my deep passion for sports. Working as a student video manager for the Wisconsin Football team and Green Bay Packers, I have had the opportunity to use video to assist teams in their quest for success as well as learn about ways that technology continuously advances the competitiveness of sports.
Personal Life
I use and enjoy technology on a daily basis. Going to the movies to see the newest block buster release, or playing video games with my friends are some of my favorite past times. That being said, in today's digital world, escaping technology and getting outside in nature is very important to my overall happiness. Recently I had the opportunity to spend a week fishing in Canada where I had no cell service or access to electricity. It was just myself and 9 others and It was some of the most fun I have ever had. It is very important to find a balance and stay grounded with the world evolving around us.
